Grenville’s is waking up! The first weekend of February and a 17lb common has been caught! The 17lb was caught by Colin. Well done! Lets keep them coming.
This week has been a hard weeks work as my dad and i have been building paths to all the swims, but it’s worth it and look’s fantastic. Im sure pictures will follow when completed. Also this week dad has been on a mission to try and create the first rainforest in Cambridgeshire. So lots of new trees and shrubs have been planted. We have also created a little fruit orchid so in a few years lots of yummy fruit picking! Maybe i will attempt to make some jam and all the members can be my tatse testers
Videos of Jamie’s 8lb 8oz chub can be watched here
Paul asks that any large chub caught be accurately weighed and photographed. These chub are enormous even on a national scale and we are keen to see how many individual monsters are present and just how close to the record they might go. We know of two 8lb+ fish so far, but other very large fish have been returned unweighed.
